Promoting the placement of graduates along with professional orientation has always been and is an important part in the work of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and Igor Sikorsky Kiev Polytechnic Institute as a whole. Due to this, many students find their first job.The FBME closely cooperates with the enterprises of various industries, in particular, round tables and meetings are held with representatives of enterprises and graduates.
The faculty has an information base about the companies where our graduates can work and with which cooperation agreements are concluded. Over the past 5 years, graduates of the faculty have been employed in more than 60 companies in Ukraine and abroad. The key to this is the existing system of practice organization, which ensures the presence of students in enterprises, organizations, hospitals, medical centers, rehabilitation centers, better adaptation to the specifics of work.
On November 23, 2017, a meeting of employers with students and graduates was held at the Department of Biosafety and Human Health with the aim of presenting companies - potential employers, their capabilities and professional requirements (pictured).
The Representatives of companies made their enterprises presentations: MI MFS "Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital",M.M. Amosov National Institute of cardiovascular surgery of the NAMS of Ukraine,the National Military Clinical Center "Main Military Clinical Hospital",The O.E.Paton Electric Welding Institute of the NAS of Ukraine, The Kyiv State Experimental Prosthetic and Orthopedic Enterprise. Some companies took part in the meeting in absentia by transmitting information in the form of presentations. Future graduates familiarized with the activities of enterprises and provided information on available vacancies and open employment programs.The issues of organization of excursions and practical classes were resolved at enterprises.
