A Scientific and Research Conference “Roman Ivanchenko’s Scientific School” took place in the Institute of Printing and Publishing on 27 November 2015. Teachers of Printing and Publishing Department, students, publishing representatives and writers have taken part in the conference.
The teachers were discussing modern editors’ education technologies, audiovisual works translation methods, telling about social institutes functioning and the necessity for students to develop practical skills. Students themselves were also involved in the discussion. Such format allowed the teachers to hear the students’ opinions.
Among the guests of the conference, there were Volodymyr Arieniev and Oleh Silin. They have answered numerous participants’ questions, in particular, about the problems of Ukrainian book-publishing industry and their opinions about their solving.
By tradition, formed during the ages of holding such conferences, the participants could enjoy the performance of a folklore drama group “КВАРТFOLK”.
