July 9th Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Troy Lulashnik received at the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine the delegation NTUU"KPI" consisting of the pro-rector of the University for International Cooperation, Corresponding Member of NAS of Ukraine Sergei Sidorenko, deputy head of department international cooperation Sergei Shukaev and director of the program "Sustainable development of KPI " Eugene Ogorodnik.
Representatives of the NTUU"KPI" convey to the Canadian Ambassador proposals for the deployment of cooperation with universities and research institutions of Canada in sustainable development, energy, nuclear and cyber security, space technology, water treatment technology and gender equality. In addition, they reported Troy Lulashnika the initiative NTUU"KPI" and the University of Winnipeg to hold in October 2014 Forum "Interaction of universities, government and buisness to ensure the sustainable development of society" and the beginning of the joint project "Sustainable (Green) campus "which will be based on already acquired in Canadian universities experience of implementing the ideology of sustainable development and green technologies. The meeting participants also discussed the creation of a NTUU"KPI" Ukrainian-Canadian Centre for cooperation in higher education, science and innovation and some organizational moments of introducing this idea to life.
