Michael Antonovich Pavlovsky (13/03/1942 - 2004) - Doctor of Technical and Economic Sciences, three times winner of the State Prize, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, was awarded the Order "Badge of Honor" and the Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, an expert in the field of mechanics gyroscopes and navigation devices, study of nonlinear spatial fluctuations of complex structures.
He was born March 13, 1942 in the village Ruzhichnaya Khmelnitsky region. In 1963 Pavlovsky graduated with honors from the KPI. In 1963-66 he was the post graduate of "gyroscopic instruments and devices", 1968 - Associate Professor in the same department, 1977 – the Head of Department of Theoretical Mechanics. In 1985 Pavlovsky created and led SDB "Rhythm". In 1993 he was the co-founder and dean of the faculty of aviation and space systems, 1994-2004 – People’s Deputy of Ukraine II, III, and V convocations, in 1996 - Member of the Ukrainian Academy of Economic Cybernetics, 2002 - Academician-Secretary of the Aerospace Academy of Ukraine.
The most significant scientific results of Michael Antonovich Pavlovsky:
- development of requirements for manufacturing precision gyroscopic instruments based on an assessment of their accuracy under dynamic disturbances;
- it was first discovered and studied theoretically and experimentally new phenomena in different types of gyroscopes (slow autooscillations vertical gyroscopes electrolytic pendulums, the influence of acoustic noise on waste (error) gyroscopes, the effect of parametric regeneration nonlinear spatial fluctuations in the hydraulic motors, additional mechanisms waste (errors) and their based evaluation of the effectiveness of different methods of auto compensation waste gyroscopes in vibration base effect of friction hysteresis type the accuracy giropriladiv vibration, new effects when using giropriladiv during acceleration gyroscopes (pulse per tenth of a second, or via giromotora for tens of seconds));
- solving the tasks of the deviation (error) gyro tools when placing them on the basis of amortized or in the case of dynamic absorbers fluctuations;
- development of the theory and principles of construction on the new for inertial navigation principles: physical quantities meters on surface acoustic waves - accelerometers, gauges of angular velocities and accelerations, force, pressure, linear displacement and rotation angles, the new type of floating gyro platform - as a combination of solids and liquids .
