On the 20th of April, 2017, at the International Education Centre, the best students of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute were awarded the scholarships from Huawei, one of China's largest telecommunication companies. Representatives of the company prepared a presentation concerning the impact and development of telecommunication technologies in the future, besides, a graduate of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, who is working now at Huawei, shared his impressions regarding work at the international company.
Fellows of Huawei Company are the folowing 13 students from 6 faculties: Nataliia Hvozdetska(ITS), Daria Hordieieva (ITS), Anton Kovbych (RTF), Kostiantyn Makhno (RTF), Dariia Liashko (FEL),Oleksandra Smolenska (FEL),Vladyslav Stepanenko (FEL), Valerii Kolesnyk (FIOT),Mykola Khramchenko (FIOT),Oleksandr Melnyk (FPM), Vira Rodionova (FPM), Kateryna Stetsiuk (FTI), Dmytro Cherkas (FTI) (pictured).
The largest scholarship amount, namely 2322 UAH per month, was awarded to the student of ITS N. Hvozdetska. All other students will receive a scholarship in the amount of 1449 UAH and 873 UAH each month from February until May 2017. It's a pleasure to note, that in the sphere of telecommunications girls are not inferior to boys: there is almost half of them among fellows of Huawei Company.
The company also announced the joining of the scholarship program of Heat-and-Power Engineering Faculty students, as this industry is quite promising. Besides, at the library of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the company presented special literature, which will help students explore in detail its developments and achievements in the sphere of telecommunications.
