Table tennis is considered one of the most popular sports in the world. Oksana Chuchenova (on photo second from the left) lecturer of Physical Training Department at Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of NTUU "KPI" believes that the person who plays table tennis not only keeps fit, but also develops intellectually because during the game you need constantly analyze the situation, immediately choose tactics and effectively apply a variety of techniques. "Such competitions are useful because we can communicate with our colleagues and exchange our experience," - says Oksana Chuchenova. We should trust her opinion because Oksana is the winner of the individual and team events at the all-Ukrainian tournament on table tennis among the Education and Science Employees Union of Ukraine which took place on September, 18-21.
The tournament was attended by 83 players from 16 regions of Ukraine. Participants showed a high level of training, planned strategy game and ability to track and calculate the ball hits. The competent jury estimated the success in the individual competition, individual technical and tactical training of each player and team work.
In the team event of the All-Ukrainian tournament on table tennis among Education and Science Employees Union members the winner became the team from the capital of Ukraine – Kyiv, consisting of: Oksana Chuchenova (NTUU"KPI"), Oksana Mykhailik (sport school №26), Mykhola Odarenko(NPDU), Volodymyr Kazmyrchuk(KNUTD), Dmytro Drobov(sport school №23), Victor Zhuravlov (KNU of T. Schevchenko).
