On October 14, 2013 the regular session of the Academic Council of university took place. It began with the congratulation of heroes of the anniversary: head of the Faculty of devices and systems of attitude and navigation, Doctor of Engineering Science, Professor N. I. Burau, head of the department of history, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor S. A. Kostileva and the head of the Department of Electrochemical Productions Technology,Doctor of Engineering Science, Professor A.V. Linyucheva.
After that Michael Zakharovich presents associate professor of graphics of NTUU “KPI” V.M. Ivanov-Akhmetov with the certificate of appreciation of the State committee of television and broadcasting of Ukraine.
The main issue of the agenda was final results of carrying out the health-improving season of 2013. The head of trade union committee of employees V. I. Molchanov was the discussion leader. He informed that mass rest of students, employees and members of their families was organized on university recreation facilities “Mayak”, “Sosnovy”, ‘Politekhnik” and “The Globe”. The sanitation lasts for two months - July and August. In total 3036 people, from them 2039 students and 997 employees and members of their families were sanitized. Vitaly Ivanovich also mentioned that the recreation facility “Mayak” enjoyed the greatest popularity. The trade-union committee and the health-improving committee of university summarized the results of work of recreation facilities for this year and suggested to recognize the work on health improvement in 2013 satisfactory. The development of the concept of the development and exploiting of recreation facilities for the future was entrusted to health-improving committee of NTUU “KPI” by March 1, 2014.
At the end competitive questions and current affairs were discussed. In particular, the vice-rector of scientific work reported about the results of certification of doctoral candidates, having mentioned that today the requirements to doctoral candidates are considerably raising. Besides, monographs of university staff were recommended for printing and the recommendation about assignment of a signature stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science is provided to study guides and manuals.
