On January, 28, the KPI held traditional competition in cross-country skiing among the representatives of diplomatic missions, representatives of international companies, and the others – Diplomatic Cup of Nordic Skiing.

On February, 2, the 1st lesson of the School of community budget “Project realization: the purchase phase” took place in the students’ space “Belka”. The co-organizers were the Scientific Library of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the team of the Community budget unit.

At the end of 2017 at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was held a scientific and practical conference devoted to the 92nd anniversary of the Radio Technical club “Polytechnic” UT7UZA. At the conference participated 72 scientists from Kyiv, Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine.

"Inside Out" was organized by the students from the "Coliseum KPI" team headed by Mykyta Upatov. The project is created to help other KPIs projects that just started their way, to find companies and mentors who are ready to invest in ideas and youth.

In January, 2018 in the KPI was held the Christmas futsal tournament "Cup of Labor Union". This tournament is held more than ten years, and the list of participants remains almost invariable.

On the 31th of January representatives of The National Joint Stock Holding Company Artem directory at the head of Anton Karpenko, current chairman of the company, visited Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

January 26 in Igor Sikorskiy KPI was held an expanded meeting of the College of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
