Visit of the President of Ukraine to KPI

🤝 On Science Day, Igor Sikorsky KPI once again served as a venue for the President of Ukraine to meet with the scientific community. The Head of State familiarized himself with the latest Ukrainian achievements and developments, including the results of KPI’s scientific research.

Meeting with Professor Charles Cockell

A meeting with leading British astrobiologist and planetary scientist Professor Charles Cockell took place at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The visit was organized with the support of the President of Ukraine’s Foundation for Education, Science and Sports under the UK–UA Visiting Professors Programme.

KPI Graduate Student at the International Physics Competition

Redrich Putyatin, a graduate student in the Department of Technical and Software Automation at the Faculty of Applied Physics and Engineering (FAPIE) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI), achieved a strong result at The International Physics Competition (IPhyC).

Opening of the Memorial Plaque Honoring Mariia Bihun (Leut)

A memorial plaque honoring Mariia Bihun (Leut) was unveiled in Building No. 18 of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, at her home faculty — the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering (FIOT). Mariia was a student of the university, a servicemember of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a junior sergeant, and a UAV operator. The ceremony was held on what would have been her birthday.

Globus Hiking Club: Competitions, Victories, and Donations

At the end of February, the “Globus” Touring Club traditionally organizes and hosts the “Snow Leopard” city competition in mountaineering techniques. The wonderful atmosphere of Holosiivskyi Park, exciting stages, and the opportunity to showcase technical skills attract dozens of athletes and fans.
