The Department of Electrochemical Technologies at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" has received valuable laboratory equipment from its French partners. This donation is the result of long-standing cooperation between Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Grenoble INP – UGA and serves as an excellent example of how international academic solidarity continues to support Ukrainian higher education, even in the most challenging times.

During the second visit of the delegation of the Turkish company ASPILSAN Enerji to Igor Sikorsky KPI, students of the Faculty of Electrical Power Engineering and Automation (FEA) and the Faculty of Chemical Technology (HTF) attended a lecture entitled “Battery Technologies and Energy Solutions Shaping the Future.”.

From June 2 to 6, 2025, a training seminar was held in Ljubljana (Slovenia) as part of the Erasmus+ Open4UA project — Open Science for the Higher Education System of Ukraine.

On March 26, 2025, the Faculty of Chemical Technology of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute held a scientific and educational event “Chemical Technologies in Action” for schoolchildren and everyone interested in the framework of the KPISchool engineering week. The main purpose of the event was to familiarize participants with modern chemical technologies, demonstrate their practical application and popularize chemical science among young people. 

In the 4th building of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, memorial plaques to two of our student-heroes - Oleg Kubey and Oleksandr Chukhno - were unveiled.

Students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute visited the Khmelnytsky NPP branch of NAEK Energoatom JSC. For future engineers, visiting energy facilities, especially such as KhNPP, is not just an educational event, but also a mandatory stage in the formation of their professional outlook and, perhaps, the first acquaintance with their future place of work.

For two days in Kyiv Polytechnic 120 students from the capital competed for the championship in fast chess - blitzes and rapids.

In 2023, a comprehensive monitoring of drinking water quality across Ukraine, was conducted at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, supported by WaterNet, the first All-Ukrainian professional public organization of specialists on water treatment.
