Andriy Makarchuk: “Comprehensive communication always yields results”

At the end of last year, the Ministry of Education and Science issued an order on the awarding of the President of Ukraine’s academic scholarships to graduate students for the 2025/2026 academic year. These scholarships will be awarded to candidates with outstanding scientific or academic achievements as an incentive for their work and motivation to achieve high results. Among the recipients is Andriy Makarchuk, an assistant professor in the Department of Software Engineering in Energy at the Institute of IATE.

All-Ukrainian Creative Works Competition for Integrity Week 2025

At the end of last year, our university hosted the All-Ukrainian Creative Works Competition for the second time, dedicated to fostering a culture of integrity and combating corruption. This project, organized by the Authorized Officer for the Prevention and Detection of Corruption at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in collaboration with the Faculty of Sociology and Law, ran from October 10 to December 9, 2025, and was open to students from higher education institutions across Ukraine.

About an interesting workshop at the Polytechnic Museum

A joint educational project between the Boris Paton State Polytechnic Museum and Antonina Berezovenko, an associate professor in the Department of Ukrainian Language, Literature, and Culture at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, was dedicated to the development and application of museum pedagogy methods during the course "Culture of Oral Professional Speech (Rhetoric)“ by first-year students of the Institute of IPSA, who are majoring in ”Artificial Intelligence."

Radio waves of science: RTPSAS-2025 at RTF

In early December, Igor Sikorsky KPI once again became a venue for professional scientific discussion. The XIV International Scientific and Technical Conference “Radio Engineering Problems, Signals, Devices, and Systems” (RTPSAS-2025) was held at the RTF, an event that has been an integral part of the faculty’s scientific life for many years.

Andriy Shysholin, Vice Rector for International Relations at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI); Oksana Vovk, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Energy Conservation and Energy Management at KPI; and Kateryna Lugovska, Director of the Ukrainian-Japanese Center at KPI, met on December 16 with Mykhailo Turyanytsia, a communications specialist at the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), Mykhailo Turyanytsia, and a journalist from the Kyodo News Agency, Narumi Tateda (Japan).
