Students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute achieved the best results among 30 participants representing 18 higher education institutions from across Ukraine. Congratulations to the second-year student winners:
🎥 After a several-year break, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute once again hosted one of the largest international student programming competitions in an in-person format—the 17th International Open Programming Olympiad KPI-OPEN 2026.
🇺🇦 Ukrainian school students from Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Mariupol, and the Poltava region represented Ukraine at the International Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Olympiad in Sydney. They know war not from textbooks, but from missile strikes and air raid sirens.

On April 14–16, 2026, the Departments of Power Supply of the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management and Thermal and Alternative Energy of the Institute of Nuclear and Thermal Energy at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute jointly held the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the discipline of Energy Management.
On November 21, 2025, the XVIII Open Student Olympiad on the Theory of Electronic Circuits took place remotely, which is held annually by the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Faculty of Electronics and is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Vitaly P. Sigorsky, an outstanding scientist and teacher who worked at our university from 1964 to 2007.

Department of Mathematical Analysis and Probability Theory, FMF will resume work a club "Custom and Olympiad tasks of algebra and analysis." Classes will be held remotely, using Zoom.
On November 28-th, 2024, the XVII Open Student Circuit Theory Olympiad was held, which is annually held by the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Faculty of Electronics and is dedicated to the memory of Professor Vitaliy Sigorsky, an outstanding scientist and pedagog who worked at our university from 1964 till 2007.
A three-day student Olympiad "Mechatronics in Mechanical Engineering" was held at Kyiv Polytechnic. About 20 KPI students competed for the championship in applying the basics of mechanics, electronics, electricity and automation to solve problems that arise in real production.
