Hryhorii Luparenko, Head of the Research Department for Exhibition and Museum Activities at the Borys Paton State Polytechnic Museum and a war veteran, has been awarded the Honorary Distinction of the Academic Council of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for his outstanding contribution to strengthening Ukrainian statehood, his courage and selfless service in defending Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and his dedicated professional service.

ℹ️ Since 2015, Hryhorii Luparenko defended Ukraine in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone. From the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion, he rejoined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a member of military intelligence units, he took part in the defense of the Kyiv region and in battles for Bakhmut, Vuhledar, and other frontline areas. He was wounded and suffered concussions on multiple occasions and has received numerous state and military awards in recognition of his courage and service.

🔺 After being discharged from the Armed Forces of Ukraine on May 5, 2026, he returned to the Borys Paton State Polytechnic Museum and resumed his duties as Head of the Research Department for Exhibition and Museum Activities.
