🔋 Representatives of JSC “Market Operator,” NEC “Ukrenergo,” PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo,” and SE “Guaranteed Buyer” held a two-day series of classes on April 6–7 at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for approximately 60 senior students from the Department of Power Supply at the -Scientific Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management ( IEE Institute) and the Department of Electrical Networks and Systems of the Faculty of Electrical Power Engineering and Automation ( FEA)
The format included live interaction: students asked questions directly and, together with the speakers, explored:
✨ the principles governing the electricity market;
✨ how prices are formed;
✨ what role the transmission system operator plays in the power system;
✨ how imbalances are regulated and how the ancillary services market functions;
✨ how renewable energy producers operate in the market.
📌 After the training, KPI students took a test and received certificates.
