Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute has become the first higher education institution in Ukraine to officially join the National Bank of Ukraine BankID System as a non-commercial service provider. This achievement was preceded by more than a year of work, numerous consultations, and negotiations between Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the National Bank of Ukraine.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provided KPI with its second grant since the start of the full-scale war. In 2022, the university received its first emergency grant, which allowed it to quickly migrate its infrastructure to a cloud environment. At that time, digital services were operating in a partner environment provided by EPAM. Later, the university completely switched to its own AWS account.

Igor Sikorsky KPI has launched KPI ID, a unique single sign-on system that changes the user experience of students and teachers at Ukraine's largest technical university.

Since 2011, our university has been operating the Electronic Campus, which is the first such automated information system in higher education institutions of Ukraine.

Ensuring the educational processes continuity is one of the main factors of competitiveness and real independence of our state. And this is well understood not only at educational institutions, but also by representatives of socially responsible business.

On that day, the White Hall of the capital's House of Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was crowded. The lecture "Stratospheric balloons. Typology and possibilities" brought together those interested in the design and use of lighter-than-air vehicles.

After the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the information systems and elements of its critical digital infrastructure that are most important for the viability of the KPI were moved to the cloud.
