🩸 55 participants, 24.75 liters of blood—a joint contribution by KPI students and other donors to saving the lives of our defenders. Igor Sikorsky KPI once again supported a blood drive for wounded soldiers who require transfusions during their treatment.
This time, blood was collected in a mobile unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Blood Center. After collection, the blood was transported to the Armed Forces of Ukraine Blood Center laboratory. There, it will be tested using state-of-the-art equipment, separated into components, and prepared for storage so that it can help those who need it most when the time comes.
