Scientific tourism has proven to be one of the most effective ways to explore international experience and learn from global best practices. Today, researchers and student researchers actively apply the new information, knowledge, and skills they gain through scientific travel in their subsequent professional practice.

☑️ Students and representatives of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took part in the two-day PolyTECH Bootcamp Kyiv hackathon, organized by the innovation park UNIT.City with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Participants worked on their own projects together with mentors, presented their results to an expert jury, and engaged with business representatives.

⛺️ The traditional “Drive-Filled Autumn” festival, organized by the “Globus” Tourist Club of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute, took place in the “Sosnovyi” Park on the university campus.

On August 12, as part of the Youth Day celebrations, a ceremony honoring young leaders who make a significant contribution to the development of the country and their communities was held in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi District.

☑️ Twenty-year-old Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute student Yurii Yurchuk, together with his team, is developing the SOLER unmanned aerial vehicle to help Ukrainian demining specialists survey potentially mined areas.

In April 2026, a delegation from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took part in a study visit to the Kingdom of Denmark organized within the framework of the Ukrainian-Danish Energy Partnership Programme (UDEPP). For both students and faculty members, the visit provided an excellent opportunity to see how modern approaches to energy efficiency are implemented not only in theory but also in practice.
