A new phase of joint activities in the field of energy efficiency has begun—an inaugural meeting was held for participants in the educational and practical project, which is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine in partnership with the Danish Energy Agency within the framework of the Ukrainian-Danish Energy Partnership Program (UDEPP).

The “Deer Antlers” team from the Faculty of Electronics (FEL) at Igor Sikorsky KPI won the Brave1 engineering challenge as part of the Brave Students initiative.

On March 10, Seymur Gurban oglu Mardaliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine, presented awards to students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute who won the essay contest on the topic “Startup Diplomacy: Ukraine and Azerbaijan in Building an Innovation Partnership." The Azerbaijani ambassador met with the winners and contest participants directly on the university campus. The meeting was also attended by the heads of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the faculties represented by the winners.

😢 Our university community has suffered another loss. It has been reported that another student of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Artem Krulikovsky, has died.

🕯Kyiv Polytechnic student Daria Lopatina (July 8, 2006 — September 2, 2025) was killed in action.

The State Academic Scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred honor the heroic deeds of the youngest members of the Heavenly Hundred. Each scholarship is named after one of the heroes and is awarded to students majoring in the same field as that person. "The Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred Scholarship is both a way to support talented youth and to honor our recent history. We thank the universities for their transparent selection process and guarantee adequate funding for the program. I believe that these students will carry the values of freedom and dignity into their professions and communities,” said Oksen Lisovyi, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.

🤩 Twelve KPI students—among 29 Ukrainian students majoring in technical fields—attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas (USA), one of the world’s largest consumer technology exhibitions.

From November 20 to December 1, 2025, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in collaboration with HackenProof, held the “First National CTF” online competition. The dcua team from the Educational and Research Institute of Physics and Technology (IPT) at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) also took part and achieved the best result—taking first place in the highest level of the competition—the special League of Legends standings!

Young people are the most active segment of our society. And students represent its intellectual potential. Student energy is a source of new ideas, innovations, and social change. It is on their shoulders that the responsibility for the country’s recovery and future rests. Traditionally, the best among them are recognized with named awards and scholarships.
