Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute Becomes the First Ukrainian University to Join the NBU BankID System on a Non-Commercial Basis

Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute has become the first higher education institution in Ukraine to officially join the National Bank of Ukraine BankID System as a non-commercial service provider. This achievement was preceded by more than a year of work, numerous consultations, and negotiations between Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the National Bank of Ukraine.

19 scientific journals of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute included in the List of Professional Scientific Publications of Ukraine, Category “B”

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine approved the inclusion of a number of scientific periodicals in the List of Professional Scientific Publications of Ukraine with the assignment of Category “B” status for a three-year period, from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029. Among the publications that received confirmation of their professional status are 19 scientific journals of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute.

Igor Sikorsky KPI participates in a workshop on higher education funding

On December 4–6, 2025, Igor Sikorsky KPI First Vice Rector Mykhailo Bezuglyi, Chief Accountant Kateryna Zaits, and Head of the Planning and Finance Department Maryna Bronytska are participating in the workshop "Planning and Financing, Accounting and Reporting, Human Resources and Salaries, Property Relations in Higher Education Institutions," which is being held at Lviv Polytechnic National University.

KPI scientists received funding from the Ministry of Education and Science

Over 650 fundamental and applied research projects carried out by higher education institutions and scientific institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine were submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science competition. After the completion of expert reviews and evaluations in the sections, a list of over 130 winning projects was approved, which passed the competitive selection and will begin receiving funding this year from the State Budget of Ukraine. Among them are eight projects that will be implemented at Igor Sikorsky KPI over the next three years.
