On May 20, Football Field No. 1 at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the Open Football Tournament organized by the Institute of Special Communications and Information Protection in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.
Six teams took part in the tournament: ‘Politekhnik’, the Institute of Special Communications and Information Protection (ISZZI), Kruty Heroes Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the Administration of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, and Kyiv Academic University. All teams demonstrated a high level of preparation, strong sportsmanship, and excellent teamwork, while delivering exciting matches marked by determination and a competitive spirit.
At the conclusion of the tournament, ‘Politekhnik’ emerged as the champion, confidently advancing through every stage of the competition to claim first place. The team impressed with its cohesion, skill, and determination to win. Politekhnik was coached by S. Zhuravlov and A. Kondratovych, with N. Borozniuk serving as team manager.
The Institute of Special Communications and Information Protection team finished in second place, while Kruty Heroes Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology secured third place.
The tournament was not only a sporting event but also an excellent opportunity to strengthen team spirit, promote a healthy lifestyle, and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.
