🔥 Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the “Reforming the District Heating Sector in Ukraine” / ReWarm project signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The signing took place during the conference “District Heating in Ukraine and the EU,” which brought together representatives of international organizations, relevant ministries, local communities, utility companies, equipment manufacturers, and scientists.
Specialists from the Research and Training Center for Energy Decarbonization—the KPI Energy Innovation Hub—will contribute to:

🔸 advising communities on municipal energy planning;
🔸 developing sustainable energy supply solutions;
🔸 updating educational programs, organizing exchanges, and creating the ReWarm digital library to facilitate knowledge sharing, capacity building, and the dissemination of best practices among stakeholders.

✅ The university already has research achievements in this area. In particular, Professor Volodymyr Voloshchuk, Head of the Department of Energy Process Automation at KPI, presented research on improving the efficiency of heat pump systems for the decarbonization of the industry.
