Bohdan Kanievskyi graduated from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Publishing and Printing at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Publishing and Printing. He later entered a PhD program and taught at the Department of Reprography.
He worked as a designer in Kyiv, including at an enterprise associated with the defense industry.
On January 26, 2026, Bohdan was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a member of the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade, he carried out combat missions in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.
On September 8, 2026, Bohdan Kanievskyi was killed in the Donetsk region while defending Ukraine. Eternal memory and glory to the Polytechnic heroes who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our country.
