November 16 - Day of radio, television and communication. For faculty, staff and students of the Institute of Telecommunication Systems NTUU "KPI" this holiday is important and is always celebrated in a special way.
This year, on this day a seminar company "Alcatel-Lucent" on "next-generation 5G" was held on the basis of the Institute. Company employees shared their forecasts for the development of technologies in the field of telecommunications. In particular, the need for new standard communication capabilities of mobile networks 5th generation terms of realization of 5G is considered.
During the discussion, the idea that Ukraine in its technological development has lagged behind for many years, clearly crystallized. Today, all over the world the communication 4G is used actively. The development of 5G is going on in Japan. However, in Ukraine, due to lack of alternative technologies, the second generation is used.
But that does not stop the ESITS, which has a strong science and technology base and operates internationally in many scientific and educational areas, train future professionals who will be in demand both in our country and abroad. As evidence, at the end of the event, certificates were presented to award nominal prizes of "Alcatel-Lucent" talented students (pictured).
