On April the 1st the first astronaut of independent Ukraine, a Ukrainian Hero and a Major General Leonid Kostiantynovych Kadeniuk gained a diploma and the degree of Honorary Doctor of Aircraft and Space Systems Faculty of National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".

The visit of Minister of defense deputy and industry representatives from Republic of Kazakhstan.

On the 4th of April Minister of defense deputy of Kazakhstan Republic Sergiy Gromov and managers of National company “Kazakhstan engineering” and of one of the biggest Republic enterprises – plant № 811 had a meeting with NTUU "KPI" management and scientists.

Cooperation Agreement with the University of Ondokuz Mayis

On April, 2 NTUU "KPI" concluded the cooperation agreement with university Ondokuz Mayis (t. Samsun, Turkish Republic). On behalf of Kiev Polytechnic the agreement was signed by the vice-chancellor with international relations, corresponding member of NAS of Ukraine Sergiy Sydorenko, on behalf of Ondokuz Mayis - rector professor Hussein Akan.

On March 21 at the State Polytechnic Museum of NTUU "KPI" was a round table session "great scientists of the world". It was marking the 540 anniversary of the birth of the Polish astronomer Mykola Kopernyk, 370 anniversary of the birth of Isaac Newton and the 150th anniversary of the birth of the first president of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, one of the greatest national scientists of the twentieth century Volodymyr Vernadsky.

Pisarenko Georgiy Stepanovich

Georgiy Stepanovich Pisarenko was born in December 11, 1910 in Poltava Region, Ukraine. In 1936 he graduated from Shipbuilding College of Gorky Industrial Institute (Russia) with the Diploma of the Specialist in "Ship Mechanical Equipment".

Professor V.A. Eroshenko “Collaboration with international partners gives an opportunity to conduct research on the world level”

The supervisor of IEE thermomolecular energetic laboratory, professor V.A. Eroshenko has recently been to Katowice (Poland) together with his postgraduate student Oleksiy Evtushenko. He delivered lectures there with their total amount of 12 hours. The lectures were on the introduction to the thermomolecular energetics (TME) for Masters, young scientists and professors.
