Representatives of the Department of nuclear power plants and engineering thermophysics (NPP and ET) of NTUU "KPI" thermal power department took part in one of the most prestigious international conferences on nuclear safety, held on July 30-August 3 in Anaheim (California, USA).
Summer School "Achievements and application of contemporary informatics, mathematics and physics" (AACIMP) is a scientific and educational project, which for seven years has been successfully implemented by the Scientific Society of NTUU "KPI" undergraduate and graduate students.
On June 19-21, 2012, the Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing MECO-2012 was held in Bar (Montenegro). It brought together scientists from more than 30 countries. Our University was presented by the head of the department of computer engineering prof. O.M.Lysenko and his students – graduates E.V.Korotky, O.Yu.Romanov, A.Yu.Varfolomeev and senior lecturer O.I.Antonyuk.
April 19 National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" professor visited the Technical University in Munich, Federal Republic of Germany astronaut Ulrich Walter. Rector of NTUU" KPI " Michael Zgurovsky acquainted the guests with the history and present day University.
March 20, a fair "Education in Japan" was held at the Center of Culture and Arts NTUU "KPI".
On February 10, 2012 in the hall of the Administrative Council of our University was held a joint roundtable meeting of the Ukrainian Scientific-Technological Center (USTC) and NTUU "KPI", dedicated to the beginning of a new USTC program of the U.S.
On December 23, the NTUU "KPI" hosted the Fourth Interuniversity Scientific and Methodological Seminar "Current Problems of Teaching History of Ukraine and the History of Ukrainian Culture at Higher Education Institutions"
December 14 Ambassador of Japan Toichi Sakata donated to the State Polytechnic Museum at "KPI" Japanese model of space rocket "H-IIB".
