On September, 4 in the Hall of Meetings of the Academic Council of the KPI was held a solemn ceremony of awarding the diploma “Honorary Doctor of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, a mantle and a memorial sign to the famous Polish scientist, rector of the Warsaw Polytechnic Jan Schmidt.

April 26, 2017, at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, the celebration of The World Intellectual Property Day has passed.

On 9 May melodies and songs of years of war could have been heard from the Meeting Room of Academic Board of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute.

In December 20, 2016 at the Institute of Special Communication and Information Protection of National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” there was a significant event - the celebration of the 10th anniversary of its formation.

In November, 10 in the Conference Room of Academic Board of NTUU "Igor Sikorsky KPI", winners of All-Ukrainian school student Olympiads on fundamental school disciplines and All-Ukrainian competition-defense of scientific and research work of school members of Ukrainian Small Academy of Science were granted laureate awards of Ukrainian President scholarship.

April 26, 2016 in "KPI" the celebration of the World Intellectual Property Day took place.

On May, 5th solemn meeting on 71st Victory Day anniversary celebration took place in NTUU ‘KPI’.

An official opening ceremony on the X International Summer School “Achievements and Applications of Contemporary Informatics, Mathematics and Physics (AACIMP)” took place in August, 4, 2015 in the meeting room of Academic Board of NTUU “KPI”.
