In April, 20, a regular class of Start-up school "Sikorsky Challenge" took place in Center of innovative entrepreneurship of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute. This occasion was arranged for the presentation of Doctrine of sustainable development of Ukraine "Ukraine 2030" that was delivered by people's deputy of Ukraine, famous politician and businessman Sergii Taruta.
Startup School "Sikorsky Challenge" (Vinnitsa) was opened in December 2016 at the Technical University of Vinnitsa, and in February 2017 - Startup School Azov State Technical University (Mariupol).
On 14 March, National technical university "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute" and Bohomolets national medical university signed an agreement about creation of Inter-university Scientific Training Center.
December 22, 2016 in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute were held two simultaneous events - Startup School "Sikorsky Challenge 2016" release (1st degree studies) and startup contest between graduates from different years of study.
On the 14th of October at the Center of Culture and Arts of NTUU ‘Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’ the closing ceremony of the festival ‘Sikorsky Challenge 2016’ was held. There the jury of the startups contest ‘Sikorsky Challenge’ and ‘Intel-Techno Ukraine’ competition announced the winners, and together with the representatives of investors presented awards and gifts to the authors of the best projects.
The third class of graduates of Startup School and the Forum of Innovative Ecosystem «Sikorsky Challenge» was held on May 18 at the Center of Innovative Entrepreneurship NTUU "KPI".
In February, 18 "KPI Start-ups Prospective Projects” workshop took place in Scientific Park “Kyiv polytechnic” with the participation of “Boeing Ukraine” company representatives, “Progresstech” group of companies and Embassy of USA in Ukraine.
On November 19 at Startup School "Sikorsky Challenge" started training the next group of students on the program of the first stage of the course "Introduction to innovative entrepreneurship."
In October, 2015 NTUU "KPI" was visited by a famous expert in financial market branch, trader, author of well-known bestsellers "The Market Wizards from Hedge Fund", "Stock Wizards», «The New Magician of Market".
The IV Festival of innovative projects «Sikorsky Challenge 2015» will be held in National technical university of Ukraine “Kyiv polytechnic institute” within 13 and 16 October.
