1. Overview

Control measures are an essential element of feedback in the learning process to determine the appropriate level of student’s acquired knowledge and skills requirements of regulations relating to higher education and ensure the adjustment of the educational process.

Main types of control of the educational process are: current ,foreign and semester. Current control is held up by teachers for auditorium lessons of all types. The main target of the current control is checking the level of training students to accomplish a specific job. The main purpose of the current control is providing the feedback between teachers and students in the learning process, providing management training of motivation for students. Information received during the current control is used as a teachers - to adjust the methods and means of teaching and as students - to schedule individual work. Current control is held in the form of oral questioning or written rapid control on the practical lessons and lecturers in the form of colloquium, as the result of which the studentis allowed to accomplish lab work, student’s speech in the discussions of question at the seminars and also in the form of computer’s testing.

Forms of helding the current control and criteria for assessing the level of knowledge and skills defined by the appropriate department. The results of the current control (current successfulness) of the discipline is the basic information of helding the examination and can be considered by the teacher during examination of this discipline. The most objective and systematic account of current successfulness is ensured by using a rating system of evaluation. (Look. "Regulations of the rating system assessment of the level of students"). Foreign (module, theme and calendar)control - is the control of students' knowledge after studying logically completed part of the curriculum subjects. This control can be thematic (modular) or calendar and be in the form of control works, tests or accomplishment of calculation or calculation and graphic tasks, course project (work) etc.

Semester control of a particular discipline is conducted in accordance with the curriculum in the semester examination, examination (differential examination) within the deadline set by the curricula and educational material to the extent determined by the work program of discipline. The form of the semester control (oral, written, combined, testing, etc.), the content and structure of the examination of tickets (control tasks) and assessment criterions are defined by the decision of the department.

Semester exam – is a type of final control of student theoretical and practical material from a specific discipline of the semester, which is held during the examination session. Credit (differential credit) – is a kind of total control in which student’s learning of educational material on the subject is assessed on the basis of current control (testing, the current survey, individual assignments and certain types of work on practical , seminar or laboratory classes) during the semester. Semester test plan without examination and usually do not provide the compulsory presence of student at the credit.

Student’s attestation is held up twice in the semester (at 8 and 14 weeks each semester ) required for the I -IV courses in all academic disciplines taught in this semester . In fifth and sixth years of certification may be made by the Academic council departments ( institutions) .

The results of student’s attestation can be considered by the teacher during the exam (credit) on this discipline.

Student is allowed to the semester control from a particular discipline if he to the beginning of the semester control of this discipline liquidated debts of laboratory work (computer practical work) and individual tasks, provided for the working educational plan on the semester of this educational discipline. In the case of two unsatisfactory attestation, student is allowed to the semester control of the certain discipline if to the beginning of the semester control from this discipline he received a positive mark at the control arrangement of the second attestation.

2.2 The procedure of certification

The procedure of certification of student’s in every educational discipline is determined by the appropriate department and lead students to the beginning of the educational semester.

Attestation from the certain discipline can be held:

According to the results of the current control (rapid controls) in the presence of no less than three assessments at the time of certification. In this case, the condition of unsatisfactory attestation is to have over 50% “unsatisfactory” marks;

by using a rating system for evaluating the discipline. The condition of unsatisfactory attestation is the meaning of current rating of a student less than 50% of the maximum possible at the time of attestation.

An obligatory condition of satisfactory attestation is the absence at the time of attestation debts from laboratory works (computer practical works), enrollment to the semester individual tasks (essay, home control work, quantitative work, quantitative-graphic works, course project (work) etc.). If the deadline of passing the semester individual task is not over, the condition of satisfactory attestation is lagging from the graph of accomplishment work less than three weeks.

The results of attestation are written down by the teachers in attestation information (addition A and B) at the dean’s office no later than next first two working days after attestational week.

In the attestational information a teacher in front of the surname of every attestated student write down:
