About elimination of consequences of Chernobyl accident Konstantin Danilovich Nozhenko, the manager of laboratories the automation of heat power processes TEF, knows firsthand. About 8 years he worked in a zone of the bent power unit. In official papers appears: to operate the equipment for automation of works in a zone of the raised radiation on object "Shelter". If is more detailed - together with colleagues served a huge number of sensors that provide status information about what is under the sarcophagus. The solidified radioactive bench drilled shafts, mounted in their neutron flux sensors, real-time record information, maintain and establish the appropriate equipment.
At first live in Pripyat, a factory dormitory, work in shifts. Then in Chernobyl, in buildings vidselentsiv, then - in a dormitory village Green Cape, where every day went to the zone. Four days work - three free. Passed a thorough medical examination. And in 1998, doctors said enough. I had to return to "peaceful" work to KPI.
Memories and reflections zone cause mixed feelings of liquidator: admiration and respect for the people with whom worke side-by-side and over the years, is becoming less; recognition of the genius of scientists and engineers who constructed and built sarcophagus under extreme conditions, which for nearly 30 years is the guarantor of our security; rejection of arbitrary actions by the country's leadership, including the closing of the 3rd power accident; thank you for your attention and every possible assistance of the international community.
K.D.Nozhenko - a pupil of the Kyiv Polytechnic, graduate TEF in 1967. Since 1983 - Senior TEU branch laboratory at the Ministry of Energy USSR of KPI. The laboratory base of chair is based on the newest equipment of world famous firms which are interested in skilled workers. The vast majority of our graduates are employed in the specialty ".
The youth reaches for the mentor. It not only source of professional knowledge and experience, but also people mobile and sports, very positive and benevolent. In the summer - travels on mountain tracks, in the winter - submits skiing runs. The Caucasus, the Crimea, the Carpathians - visited everywhere. Now encourages with own example youth to active lifestyle and it is concerned by destiny of Globus camp that is a unique place for sports and spiritual development of youth.
