Libraries at modern universities haven’t been just book storages for a long time. All leading universities around the world are developing their libraries as intellectual centers. The library at KPI after I. Sikorsky can and should be similar to all those libraries.
In July and August 2016 teachers of NTUU “KPI after Igor Sikorsky's” were trained in the courses as a part of the project “English language for universities”, which is implemented by the British Council in Ukraine.

Famous Japanese violinist Daichi Nakamura gave a performance for polytechnics that was hold in Big Chemical Room on 22th September. The event took place with the assistance of Ukrainian-Japanese center and personally former head of diplomatic mission of Japan in Ukraine (2008-2011), Tadashi Izava.
