The department of eco-biotechnology and bioenergy of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Bioenergetics is working on scientific developments and improvements of technology of conversion of waste into energy carriers.

The annual Allukrainian student scientific conference took place on  the 20th November and completed the row of measures of FL department f Ukrainian literature and culture on occasion of Day of Ukrainian writing and languages

On the 7th of December the first Math Olympiad round was held in NTUU KPI. It was the qualifying stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Mathematics Olympiad. More than 600 students wrote tests. 

A modern auditorium, equipped with the new powerful computers was an investment of the international IT Company EPAM in the future of information technologies of Ukraine and KPI in particular.

On November 21-st, 2019 the XII Olympiad on the Electronic Circuit Theory was held. It has been organized by the Electronics Engineering Department of the Faculty of Electronics and is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Vitaly P. Sigorsky

In recent years, a real revolution has been taking place in materials science, related to the creation and increasing use of nanomaterials - nanostructured metal, ceramic and composite materials, which are made of powders, the particle size of which has the order of nanometers (10-9 m).

On the October, 25 in the meeting room of the Academic Council Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Politechnic Institute hosted the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Roman Ivanchenko Scientific School".

On 15th September, a sport holiday was held at the Institute of Special Communication and Information Security in conjunction with the Day of Physical Education and Sport established by the President Decree of June 29, 1994.

The seminar-workshop “The theory and practical use of the methods of X-ray diffraction” took place under the patronage of the world famous Japanese company Rigaku Corporation at the Faculty of Physical Engineering on the 18th of September 2019.

On September 18, the wide range of issues discussed by the participants of the meeting with the famous businessman, owner and manager of the aerospace company "Firefly Aerospace" (USA) Maxim Polyakov and his legal assistant Igor Spodin during their visit to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institut
