April 6, 2017, the Department of Management of the Faculty of Management and Marketing, of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute led the Eighth All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Approaches to Enterprise Management”.

In April, 18 37th International Conference "Electronics and Nanotechnologies (ELNANO-2017) started its work in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute.

Since 2005, the Department of International Economics launched a series of conferences "International scientific-technical cooperation", held annually in the KPI n. a. Igor Sikorsky in early spring.

Representatives of more than 60 Ukrainian higher educational establishments took part in first All-Ukrainian conference “Digital communications in global space. Blended learning” that took place in January, 27 in Igor Sikorsky KPI.

There are people, ideas and things of which continue to live after their death.   Member of the Academy of Science of USSR and the USSR Victor Mykhaylovych Glushkov relates to these people.

From 22 to 24 November in the city  Kyiv hosted the XIII National Scientific Conference on Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics (UkrNDT-2016).

At the 16 of November, 2016 in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute the Student Scientific Conference  on the theme "Environmental issues and modern ways to address them in Ukraine and the world" was held, organized by the Department of English technical direction №1.

From 10 to 12 October Department of mathematical analysis and probability theory held an international conference "Boundary theorems in probability theory, number theory and mathematical statistics." The event was a continuation of a series of conferences held during recent years in Europe.

In October, 26, IV International scientific and practical conference "Pure water. Fundamental, applied and industrial aspects" started its work in NTUU "Igor Sikorsky KPI".

On September 29-30, 2016 in the State Polytechnic Museum at NTUU "KPI after Igor Sikorsky" was the XV Ukrainian national scientific conference on the subject "Topical issues of science and technology history".
