Our Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students win again, this time in chess.

The first chess championship among the employees of the capital's higher education institutions was held in the CLUST SPACE smartcity.

Recently, the Hungarian city of Nagykanizha hosted the ICO Combat Sport World Championships 2022 (Reference: Combat Self-Defense ICO is a sport that combines 15 types of martial arts in light, enhanced and full contact).

The professor at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute became a prize-winner of the Small European Championship in athletics.

The World University Championship Sport Climbing was held in the city of Innsbruck (Austria) from June 13 to 17, 2022. More than 150 athletes from 21 countries took part in it - from Australia to the USA and Japan.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute team took part in the Ukrainian climbing championship among students, which took place on March 11-13 in Kremenchuk.  The competition was held in three disciplines: "speed", "difficulty" and "all-around".

Traditionally, in the first days of the new year in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Sports Complex hosted two Christmas futsal tournaments.

Sophomore student (group KA-77) Master of Sport of Ukraine Fedir Karpovych took part in XIX World Cup of sport radio direction finding as part of national youth team of Ukraine and took the 2nd place in personal offset.

The Ukrainian Rock Climbing Championship, 12th on the account, took place on February 23-25 ​​in Kryvyi Rig (Bouldering type). These annual competitions take place once again at the Metallurg Stadium, where the ski lift is located in the supported building.

Every year, from May to October, the city championship of football among veterans teams is taking place in Kyiv (age rating is 45 years or more).

Fourth-year student of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering Viktor Ivakhnenko again won the championship of Europe among students in the weight category up to 70 kg at the European Championship in kettlebell sport that was held in Pécs (Hungary), from April 28 to May 1.
