The first in the new school year meeting of the trade union committee of employees NTUU "KPI" Igor Sikorsky was held September 8, 2016 in the hall of the Academic Council.

The main item on the agenda was the results of the students admission to the university in 2016. First rector, Yu.I.Yakymenko reported.

Наказом Міністра освіти і науки України Лілії Гриневич від 17 серпня 2016 року №992 "Про присвоєння імені Національному технічному університету України "Київський політехнічний інститут" нашому університету присвоєно ім'я його колишнього студента, видатного авіаконструктора ХХ століття І.І.Сікорського.

The conference of university staff which heard reports of the rector and heads of trade union committees for the period from April 2015 to April 2016 and approved a collective agreement for a new term was held  at the Center of Culture and Arts "KPI" on April 7, 2016.

The main question on the agenda was the approval of the license cases of third level higher education training specialties in the "KPI". He first rector Yu. I. Yakimenko made a report. Vice-Rector M. Yu. Ilchenko was a co-speaker.

The first item on the agenda was the report of the first rector NTUU "KPI" Y. I. Yakymenka "Creating competitive education system - a requirement of time." Yuriy Ivanovich informed that the priority in today's environment is to ensure competitive quality of education at all levels as an active two-way process based on defining innovation component.
