Ambitious, creative, and hardworking people are usually successful in life and in their professional activities. And the best time to decide on the future, gain initial experience and make a name for yourself is during your student years. And there are many examples of this.

There is no need to introduce Victoria Derkach, the head of the FMM student council, a fourth-year student. She manages to do everything: she successfully studies, works in the DNVR as a senior inspector of the career guidance department, and in the fall, as part of a team (as its organizer, inspirer and coordinator), she won a hackathon with the AR Navigation project, demonstrating how augmented reality helps in navigation and logistics around the KPI. Her future specialty is marketing. She is already monetizing and implementing the knowledge she has gained about generating demand in the market for production and services and meeting consumer needs.

She has tried her hand at many things during this time! As a member of the tour guide club, she is happy to introduce guests to the university campus, its history and present. She does not shy away from public events and feels confident on stage, both as a participant in amateur performances and as a host of university programs. Turning fantasies into reality? It's easy. Just look at the stories of the renovated KPI Wall on Polytechnic Street. The irrepressible activist also cooperates with KPI public organizations, is a member of the university's Academic Council, etc. And, of course, she is always volunteering: weaving nets, distributing collections, organizing charity events, providing information on social media - Victoria puts in effort and inspiration everywhere. Therefore, the award from Solomianskyi District State Administration for high achievements in education, research and active participation in public life was well deserved.

At the same time, the activist is constantly learning and improving herself. "Last year, I actively studied social media marketing: I took 5 courses in SMM and many courses in management, economics, planning, etc.," says the student, "For 8 months I gained experience in a marketing agency as a junior SMM specialist. I managed to work with the markets of Britain, Spain, Poland, and Ukraine. I also worked as a freelancer and ran my own projects. That's why I now advise small and medium-sized businesses, help young Ukrainian entrepreneurs develop and become more recognizable, and develop brand development strategies." Of course, in the future, Victoria plans to develop her personal brand on social media and work more actively in the field of SMM.

But she does have a dream. Or rather, not so much: today she has a big dream and an ordinary one. The ordinary one: since childhood, she has loved to sing, was once a soloist in a student youth group, and now she has started learning to play the piano. Of course, she doesn't have much time, but she really wants to improve her skills.

And after winning, the fidget spinner dreams of traveling around the world. Who doesn't dream of traveling, but only a few dare to do it. For example, ten years ago, two girls - KPI graduates - Anya Morozova and Maria Khandus set off on a hitchhiking trip to see the world with their own eyes: in 7 months, the travelers visited 14 countries, covering 40 thousand kilometers. They were not afraid to make mistakes and were not afraid of trials, and now they are both famous and successful. So maybe Victoria will be the next one.

And the biggest dream, of course, is the same for all Ukrainians today. It must come true. And our young people - freedom-loving, persistent, and capable of making dreams come true - will be the ones to restore and build the country.
