Taras was a graduate of the Faculty of Sociology and Law of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
When russia started aggression against Ukraine in Donbas, he volunteered for war immediately. In August 2014, he participated in the battles near Ilovaisk.
"Taras was a real warrior. It was not surprising that he was one of the first to go to war in 2014. He was wounded in close combat with the enemy near Ilovaisk. After the start of the full-scale war, he went to the front," Oleksii Svynarenko, leader of the NGO “National Resistance of Ukraine”, says.
Taras died in the bryansk oblast of the russian federation while performing a combat mission as part of a sabotage and reconnaissance unit together with Yurii Horovets, Maksym Mykhailov, and Bohdan Liahov on December 25, 2022.
