At the beginning of summer Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took part in the XXI International Industrial Forum, which brings together a number of specialized exhibitions and is the most famous Ukrainian industrial exhibition event, which is included in the list of the world's leading industrial exhibitions certified and recognized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).

Traditionally, the forum hosted a number of conferences and scientific and technical seminars on the development of the scientific and production potential of the machine-building industry, high-performance marketing and management at industrial enterprises, and other issues. Despite the war, the forum organizers managed to bring together leading players in the Ukrainian machine-building market to present innovative equipment and technologies from Ukrainian and foreign manufacturers. In total, 147 companies from more than two dozen countries took part in the event: Austria, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States, and, of course, Ukraine.

According to Vitalii Pasichnyk, Vice-Rector for Research, the university presented 44 developments at the forum, which were provided by the Institute of MMI, Institute of IMZ, Institute of IATE, Institute of IAT, FEA, FBMI, FBT, PEL and PBF. By the way, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was the only higher education institution to present the results of its work at this forum. Moreover, the difference between the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute exposition and others was the wide range of project topics. During the forum, contacts were established with companies and meetings were arranged at the university to discuss in detail possible cooperation in the field of defense technologies and employment of our students.

The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute site was quite popular among both participating companies and guests of the forum. Here are just a few of the exhibits that aroused great interest.
The development of the Institute of MMI, which was presented by Professor Vasyl Strutynskyi, is a mobile robotic complex with a system of manipulators. The complex is the basis for testing the platform's operating modes in various conditions, including special operations (more details at https://io.kpi.ua/r-all/mmi-04-r-01/).

Among the exhibits of the Institute of IATE, presented by members of the team of scientists of this institute Dmytro Kozak, Pavlo Novikov and Yaroslav Trokoz, the greatest attention of the participants and visitors of the forum was drawn to the development of the "Combined solar collector (PV/T) on heat pipes", "Heat exchanger-utilizer on aluminum heat pipes", and especially "Heat pipes with axial grooves for space technology" (details - https://io.kpi.ua/r-all/nn-iate-03-r-01/, https://io.kpi.ua/r-all/nn-iate-03-r-02/, https://io.kpi.ua/r-all/nn-iate-03-r-03/).

Viktor Taranov from PBF presented a system for monitoring the water environment, the difference of which is the processing and transmission of information about the state of the water to a remote computer (smartphone) operating 24/7 (more details at https://io.kpi.ua/r-all/pbf-07-r-01-2/).
And the Head of the Department of Acoustic and Multimedia Electronic Systems of the Faculty of Electronics, Professor Serhii Naida, presented at the forum the developments of the Medical Acoustics research group: "Broadband Acoustic Ear Echo Spectrometer" and "Acousto-Thermometer" (details here: https://io.kpi.ua/r-all/fel-01-r-01/).

According to Anton Khmarsky, Head of the Innovation Division of the Department of Innovation and Technology Transfer of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, we have once again seen that the participation of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the International Industrial Forum allows us to build and expand ties with industry representatives, companies and enterprises, enhances the reputation of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and promotes the exchange of knowledge and innovation.
