Sofia Drozd, a master's student of the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis, took part in the International GEO Week 2023, which took place in Cape Town.
The participants of this year's event discussed the development strategy of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) after 2025.
Sofia, speaking at the plenary session, presented the position of young participants on the GEO strategy after 2025.
She also presented the department's achievements in applying machine learning to monitor land cover changes in Ukraine.
