☑️ Educational process
The results of the first calendar control showed that the specialties with a larger number of classroom classes have higher certification results than those with a smaller number.
The second stage of the All-Ukrainian Scientific Competition of Student Works on Artificial Intelligence has been completed. More than 50 papers from 25 higher education institutions from all over Ukraine took part in the competition. The final will be held on October 27-28 at Kyiv Polytechnic.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute regularly trains students under the National Resistance Program.
KPISchool, an engineering week dedicated to energy, was held at Kyiv Polytechnic. The departments prepared lectures and master classes as part of career guidance.
Accreditation of educational programs continues. This week, 4 expert groups will work on 9 educational programs.
Kyiv Polytechnic and the Ministry of Education and Science are working together to create a program to improve psychological health.
Starting next academic year, the discipline "Academic Integrity" will become compulsory in the first year of bachelor's degree.
Last week, the KPI Library hosted webinars on open science and an All-Ukrainian roundtable on academic integrity.
More than 1000 students are enrolled in preparatory courses at KPI.
Within the framework of the Sikorsky Challenge 2023 festival program, Kyiv Polytechnic hosted a Bootcamp, which was attended by 7 student teams from all over Ukraine.
☑️ Scientific activities
The Sikorsky Challenge 2023 International Festival of Innovative Projects was held. It was the first time that representatives of other countries presented their startup projects. 200 applications were submitted, and 130 projects made it to the final. This year's festival broke records in terms of the number of participants in the history of its holding.
The Ministry of Education and Science will allocate UAH 5.2 million for the development of the KPI space program.
This week 1 patent for a utility model, 2 applications for invention and 3 applications for copyright registration were issued.
☑️ International activities
Kyiv Polytechnic took part in the meeting of the CESAER Alliance General Assembly held in Madrid. Leading technical universities in Europe will work on joint projects.
KPI is strengthening ties with the embassies of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to attract their citizens to study.
Kyiv Polytechnic together with Poznan University and the University of San Diego are working on new projects in the field of cybersecurity.

20 points of indestructibility on the territory of KPI are ready to work in the event of possible blackouts.
Repairs to the 4th dormitory shelter are nearing completion.
Finishing works in the smart shelter of the KPI Library are starting.
Kyiv Polytechnic will take part in the city's anti-terrorism exercises.
The basketball team of Kyiv Polytechnics won the Kyiv championship twice.
