On September 30, 2023, the Board of the KPI Students' Section in Poland held a meeting at the Warsaw House of Technology. The President of the Federation of Scientific and Technical Societies of the National Technical Organization (Naczelna Organizacja Techniczna - NOT) Ewa Mankiewicz-Cudni informed the participants about the work of the Federation and presented golden NOT honorary badges.
Paweł Wieciecki and Henryk Bukalski received the awards. The presentation of golden badges to Sylwester Lewicki and Andrzej Mnich was postponed. Bronislaw Hynowski, President of the Society of Culture and History of Technology, spoke about the activities of this Society. Janusz Fuksa, the head of the Section of KPI students in Poland, presented a report for the year illustrated with photos. The Board accepted the report and approved the work plan for the next year.
It was also decided to submit a petition to the governing bodies of the Federation to award three scientists of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and two members of the Section's board with NOT honorary badges in connection with the 125th anniversary of the university.
