At Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, a memorial plaque was put up in honor of Andriy Yeremenko, a graduate and researcher of the university.
After the beginning of the war, Andriy commanded the combat crew of the anti-aircraft missile battery and got killed as a result of an enemy's artillery attack on August 21, 2014.
Today Andriy's relatives, students and employees of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute came to the opening of the memorial to remember and honor the hero.
