The monument to the outstanding aircraft designer Konstantin Alekseevich Kalinin was opened August 28, 2014.
Location of the monument: alley of outstanding scientists behind the main building KPI opposite former hangar, today the aviation and astronautics branch of State Polytechnic Museum.
It is knocked out on the pedestal:
- Konstantin Alekseevich Kalinin “..we must create a domestic aircraft..” (front side of the monument)
- To outstanding aircraft designer, the founder of civil aviation of XX century, the graduate KPI 1925 year from the teachers and students of Kyiv Polytechnic (side of the monument)
