This title has annual Student Scientific Conference, held by the Department of Ukrainian Language, Literature and Culture FL. This year, the reports were related to the following areas of research: "Linguistics: Language and Literature", "Culture and Cultural History", "Architecture", "Folklore", "Art" and joined in scientific research more than fifty students from different faculties.

K.Kolomiyets (FAM) opened the conference with the report "Concept" faith "in the context of philosophy of Ukrainian language." There was a particular interest to "music themes": V.Parhomenko (IASA) of the stages of development of music in Ukraine (this show was complemented with the song "Cossacks of the Don drove home" by the speaker with his own accompaniment); Yu.Ohrimenko (FASS) on percussion bell-carillon keyboard instrument. The participants were not indifferent to the report of Yu.Kunyk (FEPEA) about the history and artists of Petrikivsky drawing; M.Shamshyna (FCT) about the Museum of Khanenko with the unique collection of cultural artifacts; L.Kovalchuk (IASA) - "High-tech in Ukraine." K.Simakova (IPT) told about foreign influence on Ukrainian culture. T.Savytskyy (FAM) informed about the influence of Christianity on culture of Kievan Rus.The theme of the report O.Zharyuk (PL) was the scientific work and the tragic fate of the famous Ukrainian scientist, orientalist and translator Agatangel Crimea. L.Bur (IPP) reported about verbal forms of Ukrainian language.

Conference participants greeted the winners of the competition in the Ukrainian language "Master literacy", dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian literature and language. Ninety-two students, representatives of all faculties were tested for being Ukrainian. The best experts in their native language were Anna Busol, Sofia Matsyutsya and Bogdan Snizhko (IASA). They will represent NTUU "KPI" on a city stage of International Competition of Petro Yatsyk. Just a few points separated the winners from Sofia Glushko and Vadim Korshunova (IASA). Victor Kurach (FAM), Olga Klimov (FL) and Elizabeth Tereshchenko (IPT) won the “bronze”.
