Temporary regulations on the organizations of educational process in NTUU “KPI”: 6.3. Practice

The practice is a necessary component of training specialists. The aim of practical preparation is acquirement modern methods, forms of organization and tools in their future professional activity, formation based on the obtained knowledge of professional skills and experience make independent decisions during concrete work in the real market and production conditions, education needs to systematically update your knowledge and creatively apply them in practice.

   Depending on the specific purposes and specialty practice can be: educational, industrial, technological, operational, constructive, pedagogical, economical, scientific and research, pre-diploma and more.

  A list of all types of practices, their form and terms of determined by the educational and work curriculum.

   The final element of practical preparation is a pre-diploma practice of students, which is held before executing the degree project (work). Before the interning of pre-diploma practice the student must to receive a topic of the degree project (work) in order to solidify and deepen knowledge of professional training during the practice, collect factual material and perform the necessary research on the project (work). To the master preparation such a tasks can carry out scientific and research practice. Pre-diploma, scientific and research and pedagogical practices are held individually.

   Responsibility for organizing, carrying out and control of practice relies on the head of the appropriate department.

   The practice of students is carried out in modern enterprises and organizations (as an exception - the departments of the university) under the organizational-methodical guidance of scientific and pedagogical worker of appropriate department and a specialist of enterprise (organization).

   The content and technology of traineeship program is defined practices that developed by relevant departments (departments) and approved by the director / dean of the relevant institution / faculty.

   The program determines the types and forms of checking the level of formation necessary skills requirements to report of the student on program implementation of practice and individual tasks. The report of practice defense by a student at the commission appointed by the head of the appropriate department. A student who has not complied the program of practice for valid reasons, may be eligible for traineeship again under the conditions specified by institution / faculty. A student who last received a negative assessment from the practice of the commission, sends down from the university.
The results of each practice are discussed at sub-faculty meetings, and the general results of practice summarizes at academic councils of institutes / departments at least once during the academic year.

   When organizing and carrying out practice conducts such a documentation:

  • long-term and one-time individual agreements with companies concerning traineeship of students;
  • order of the institute / faculty about strengthening students to base of practice;
  • orders of university of sending students to the practice and the appointment of leaders;
  • programs and work programs of practice;
  • methodical recommendations concerning traineeships and reporting on its results;
  • diaries and individual tasks for students to traineeship;
  • journal of visiting practice by students;
  • graphics of visiting the bases of practice its leaders for the purpose to control;
  • students’ reports on the implementation of the practice program;
  • a list of accounting a success.

   Students’ records are stored at the department for one year, then written off and utilized in the established order. Annotations of students’ reports about of practical training (except closed themes) volume not less than 650 signs are placed on the department's website on open access and are stored at least one year.

   More issues of organization conducting and summarizing the practice of students examined in the Ministry of Education of Ukraine from 08.04.1993 y. № 93 “About approval of Regulations on carrying out practice of students of higher educational institutions of Ukraine” (with amendments according to the order from 12.20.1994, the Ministry of Education. number 351).
