ІІІ International scientific and practical conference “Pure water. Fundamental, applied and industrial aspects” has started in NTUU “KPI”. It is hold under auspices of Ambassador Extraordinary and Respected of Poland republic in Ukraine Henryk Litvin.
The moderators of the conference were National technical university of Ukraine “Kyiv polytechnic institute”, Poland academy of science representation in Kyiv, National academy of science of Ukraine, UNESCO department “Higher technical education, applied system analysis and informatics”, Scientific park “Kyiv polytechnics”, Ukrainian and Poland center of NTUU “KPI”, National university “Lublin polytechnics”, Ecology chemistry and engineering community (Poland), Ukraine and Poland center of NTUU “KPI”, RDE “Nature technologies”.
Rector of NTUU “KPI”, academician of NAS of Ukraine Mychailo Zgurovskii, Poland embassy counselor in Ukraine for issues of scientific and educational cooperation Anna Kuzma, academician of NAS of Ukraine, academician secretary of chemistry department of NAS of Ukraine, director of Institute of surface chemistry after O. O. Chuiko Mykola Kartel, manager of Polish academy of science representation in Kyiv professor Henryk Sobchuk, commercial director of “Nature technologies” Roman Shalaev.
“With each passing year, problems that were under discussion at the conference will become more serious and topical and the more actively we will work over them, the more successfully they will be solved” – rector of NTUU “KPI” Mychailo Zgurovskyi states at the opening ceremony of the conference.
A bright example of conference relevance were the reports delivered in plenary session: «Groundwater purification in the regions of uranium and iron mining and processing activities» (B. U. Kornilovych), «Problems of fresh water in the world and Ukraine (I. M. Astrelin), “Methods of desalinization of highly mineralized water”(M. D. Gomalia), “The problems of potable water in evolution world (according to professor T. Dobzhanskyi) (P. I. Gvozdiak), “Intensification ways of biological purification of cities and industrial enterprises sewages” (L. A. Sablii).
During the next two days, the participants will be discussing particular issues, progressive technologies of water purification as well as sewages sterilization, research results of groundwater contamination as well as the ways of their purification, assessment techniques of anthropogenic effect on water quality in water storages etc. Several reports are devoted to the problems of particular waterway of our country. In particular, reports devoted to the problems of Lugan river and fabular river Lybid, reconstruction of water sewage treatment plants of Dnieper reservoir cascade will be presented for consideration.
Thus, a great range of relevant issues that our health and perspectives for the whole mankind future depend on, will be considered at the conference.
IIІ International Scientific and Technical Conference ‘PURE WATER. FUNDAMENTAL, APPLIED AND INDUSTRIAL ASPECTS’ “Pure water 2015”
The supply of good quality water for industry and citizens is essential for harmonious, economical and social development. The urgency of this problem increases together with the degradation of natural water bodies as a consequence of significant anthropopressure and the increase of population. International cooperation in science and education, development and the improvement of principles and mechanisms of a comprehensive approach to the protection of water resources plays an important role in solving of this problem. IІI International Scientific and Technical Conference “Pure Water 2015” aimed to implement these tasks, that theme covers the main areas of research in the field of water supply, water treatment, rational use of water resources.
The conference will be held under the patronage of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland at Ukraine dr Henryk Litwin.
