From 27 November to 3 December 2016 in the framework of academic mobility Erasmus + KPI named after Igor Sikorsky prof. Wojciech Hlevytsky came with the visit from the University in Szczecin, Poland (Szczecin University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering).

January 26 at the Department of Physics and Metals of Physical Engineering Faculty Doors Open Day took place. There were invited students of 10th and 11th grades from one of Kiev schools - potential applicants and their parents. In general, everyone could visit this event.

In Kyiv a competition of public projects upon programme "participation budget" took place for the first time. Among the winners there were five projects of students and fellow-workers of KPI by Igor Sikorsky.

Google Scholar is a famous and popular international opened database. The conditions include scientist in the database and create personal cabinet are granted at Google Scholar site. This database is quite convenient for surnames written in Cyrillic alphabet.

Since 2011 the department continued cooperation with industrial marketing FMM company L'Oreal Ukraine. It all started with the participation of teams department in international student contest Brand Storm.

Anti-terrorist operation keeps on in the eastern Ukraine. The participants of ATO receive voluntary support from different parts of the country.

The third year student of FAKS Alexander Belukha is the extraordinary person who is endowed with creative abilities. He’s been keen on drawing since childhood, but  he "didn’t attend any schools of art" (according to his own words).

A regular rating of the world university according to rating of presence in Webometrics Ranking Web of Universities network as of January, 17 is made public.
