For the first time, the international InnovAid Hackathon dedicated to artificial intelligence in medicine was held at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science that develops systems for performing tasks that usually require human intelligence: medical diagnostics, e-commerce, remote control of robots, and remote sensing of the Earth.

KPImedia together with the Ukrainian media #ShoTam created a video about a unique development, thanks to which thousands of wounded defenders will be able to walk and even run again!

"To take the best, remove the worst and make a perfect Ukrainian product!" - say future engineers from the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of KPI.

And this is not the only unique development of the students.

National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, together with the Shalimov National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology, will engage in bioprinting of organs and tissues, rehabilitation of the wounded, development and maintenance of operating theater furniture.

At Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, they learned how to apply a tourniquet properly, stop bleeding, and handle weapons skillfully.

The training was conducted for students and employees of the Security Department of the university.

On April 29, a student space Belka hosted another training in premedical care with the participation of Hanna Mayboroda, a trainer from MED.PATRIOT crisis center for civil and military medicine.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign is underway at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The University teachers and staff get vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine as educators at the Kyiv City Student Polyclinic (KCSP).

The PBF Department of Instrumentation Design and Engineering prepares specialists at three levels of higher education in the speciality 151 "Automation and computer-integrated technologies", educational program "Computer-integrated device production technologies".
