For a week, a group of students of the E.O. Paton Institute of Materials Science and Technology, accompanied by Associate Professor of the Department of Welding Production Natalia Strelenko, visited the University of Stuttgart.
During the six working days of the school, the girls managed to:
🔹 listen to lectures by leading experts on state-of-the-art materials research methods, the design and principles of electron microscopes, as well as methods of interpreting the images obtained;
Gain practical skills in working with unique sample preparation equipment, as well as SEM, TEM and STEM microscopy;
🔹 make poster presentations on the results of their own research;
🔹 communicate with students of the Institute of Materials Science of the University of Stuttgart;
🔹 visit Mercedes Benz AG as part of the cultural program.
