Finalists and winners of the festival "Sikorsky Challenge 2015" among the other began the project "Campus 2.0" - platform for realization innovative services based on the integration of new hardware, software services, digital multimedia content with elements of augmented reality.

The idea of project "Campus 2.0" is to create a platform to support educational, residential, cultural, sports, entertainment and other events based on wireless connection and sombre technologies. The project includes the integration of three levels: (1) hardware - as a wireless network throughout the campus NTUU "KPI"; (2) software - in the form of services: e-learning courses in open online course (MOOC), electronic maps as KPI Maps, electronic guides, network geolocation tags with elements of augmented reality and integration with KPI Maps etc.; (3) digital content - in the form of context-localized multimedia information (text, graphics, audio, video, 3D-objects on websites, electronic charts and maps augmented reality, etc.) interesting objects and artifacts campus NTUU "KPI" (in the park, museums, blocs, etc.).

In the context of education it will expand the range of available training facilities for high-tech services and digital content (in museums, exhibitions, laboratories, buildings, etc.) to expand the age range of students "from cradle to retirement" in terms of the global trend of "lifelong learning" (of lifelong learning ): from shoolchildrens - visitor of museums to university graduates which wish to enhance skills, and older people who try to master new skills to improve the quality of life.
