The national forum "Water in Industry and Agriculture during the War and Climate Crisis" was held in Kyiv. The event brought together more than 400 participants from different regions of Ukraine.

This year's forum, held under the slogan "Let's rebuild Ukraine together," was dedicated to plans for the restoration and development of Ukrainian water supply and sewage systems. Special attention was paid to the projects of international humanitarian organizations in the water sector.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute scientists have prepared probable scenarios of the consequences of the Kakhovka HPP explosion.

As of the morning of June 9, the situation was developing closer to the probable scenario.

According to the probable scenario of flooding of the surrounding areas in the event of a dam break at the Kakhovka HPP, the coast of the right bank of the Dnipro will suffer 8 times less than the left bank. The total area of flooding reaches 1126 km2.

Specialists of the World Data Center of Geoinformatics and Sustainable Development (WDC-Ukraine) prepared a dashboard based on the interactive map with shelter addresses for the population of Kyiv. The scientists posted it on the website of the Kyiv City State Administration.
